  The Company

Due to continued expansion, one of Irelands leading Estate Agents based in the Midlands, wish to recruit a Senior Estate Agent Manager.

The Position

The successful candidate will become the right hand person to the Managing Director, taking over responsibility for managing the office and team, and be a major contributor in growing the business. The position has partnership potential within a number of years.

Reporting to the Managing Director, the position will assume the following responsibilities:

Office Management

Reviewing all processes in the office and fully implementing computer system – streamlining and changing procedures/duties etc to make a more efficient office, in conjunction with the Managing Director.
Ensuring the smooth running of the office on a daily basis
Ensuring that all office/procedure changes are agreed, and implemented in a gentle manner.
Ensuring that weekly/monthly reports are produced in a timely manner – content/timing/regularity of reports to be agreed at outset
Keeping the Managing Director updated regularly on all sales and other activities at a weekly meeting and as necessary, during week.

Staff Management

Management of six office and sales staff.
Monitor sales with the Sales Team, manage their activities including objectives, targets, training, time off, rotas, etc.
Manage all staff in a professional motivational manner.
All HR matters relating to staff.

Assistant to the Managing Director

Become right hand person to the Managing Director, spending significant time out on field work.
Doing the running on projects once the initial touch has been completed by the Managing Director, and gradually growing into the MD’s role with regard to dealing with commercial and development projects.

Product Knowledge

Fast track your knowledge of the local property market and develop specific experience in commercial and large scale residential markets

Sales/Customer Service

Initiate and lead the sales team at morning meetings.
Ensure the smooth running of the front office to include analysing the day-book on a daily basis, to ensure that all jobs/calls have been attended within 24 hours of initial contact to include delegation of tasks and monitoring of progress.
Take responsibility for all sales activities, control and service same - fundamentally pro-actively lead and drive all sales activity in the office, ensuring all leads are followed up in a timely manner and initiate new sales promotions.
Promote the company and introduce new business.
Overall responsibility for the achievement of the sales budget, and generate own sales as agreed at beginning of each year.
