This programme is designed to meet the needs of that developing market by providing an articulate, competent professional graduate who will be able to operate to professional standards across a range of occupations, including property sales negotiator and property manager, in an ever changing competitive market. It is designed to provide competent sales negotiators for real estate firms. The expansion in the market has given rise to an increase in the number of agency firms with a consequent requirement for trained employees.

Students who obtain the Higher Certificate and subsequently acquire two years experience in an auctioneering practice (or three if they run their own auctioneering practice), approved by IPAV, qualify to apply for full IPAV membership.

Entry Requirements   Grade D3 at ordinary level in five subjects in the Leaving Certificate examination. Two of these subjects must be Mathematics and a language (English or Irish).
