Students of the Certificate in Auctioneering and Estate Agency course who obtain at least a grade C in Valuations, Regulatory Environment, Building Studies, Professional Practice and Communication can apply to progress to the Diploma in Property Management and Valuation.

The Diploma is an advanced one year course that deals with existing and prospective uses of land and buildings, their management, valuation, sale, purchase and marketing.

The Diploma in Property Management and Valuation is subject to scrutiny by the School of the Built Environment, University of the West of England (Bristol) and is recognised for progression to the final year of the BSc (Hons) in Real Estate (Valuation and Management) at the University.

Students who register for the Diploma in Property Management and Valuation will be designated Student Members. Those who obtain a Diploma and subsequently acquire one years experience in an auctioneering practice (or three if they run their own auctioneering practice), approved by IPAV, qualify to apply for full IPAV membership.

Entry Requirements Students of the Certificate in Auctioneering and Estate Agency course who obtain at least a grade C in Valuations, Regulatory Environment, Building Studies, Professional Practice and Communication can apply to progress to the Diploma in Property Management and Valuation
Intending students will be subject to interview to determine their suitability for higher study
   
Course Fees An acceptance fee of €120 is payable to IPAV
A professional fee of €575 is payable to IPAV
A student services fee is payable each year to the college
Student services fees may be higher for International students
   
Semesterisation The course is semesterised with exams in December and May
Exams make up 60% of the overall grade
Students will also undertake project work in each semester
Courseworks make up 40% of the overall grade for the year
Students must pass all subjects to gain the Diploma
   
Timetables Course timetables are set by the college
Coursework deadlines and exam dates are set by IPAV
