19.04.07 Kerry Football Legend to Address IPAV Convention

Kerry football legend Mick O’Dwyer will be one of the guest speakers at the Annual Convention of the Institute of Professional Auctioneers and Valuers which takes place in the Marriott Druids Glen Hotel, Co Wicklow on Friday, May 25 and Saturday, May 26. Micko has four All-Ireland medals with his native Kerry, as well as later managing the team in 10 All-Ireland Finals, winning eight of them. He now trains the Wicklow team on whose patch the IPAV Convention is being held this year.
 
The Convention will also hear from the Director designate of the National Property Services Regulatory Authority, Tom Lynch and Professor Margret Funk, President of the Confederation of European Estate Agents (CEI) which represents 40,000 agents across Europe.
 
The guest of honour for the Gala Dinner on Saturday night is EU Internal Market Commissioner Charlie McCreevy.
     
This will be Fintan McNamara’s first Convention as Chief Executive of IPAV when he will have an opportunity to meet many members from all over the country.
IPAV’s AGM will be held on the morning of Saturday, May 26th prior to the Convention.
