AGENT IS RE-ELECTED IPAV PRESIDENT
Well-known Dublin estate agent Seán Mason has been re-elected as President of the Institute of Professional Auctioneers and Valuers (IPAV). Mr Mason was re-elected at this weekend’s AGM in the Marriott Druids Glen Hotel, Newtownmountkennedy, Co. Wicklow.
A native of Thurles, Co. Tipperary, Mr Mason was educated by the Christian Brothers where he was also a keen hurling enthusiast. Having taken an Arts degree at University College, Cork, he taught for 19 years firstly in Nenagh and later at Oatlands College, Stillorgan, Co. Dublin.
In 1987 he set up Mason Estates which has grown and developed into one of Dublin’s largest agencies with nine offices in Dublin and Meath. In 1996, he set up Mason Financial Services which is one of the largest mortgage providers in the country.
Mr Mason was elected to IPAV’s National
Council in 1996 and has served as Treasurer and Vice-President.
