An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Valuation Surveyor and Commercial Agent to join a growing team of property experts, within a highly established and recognised Auctioneering firm in Galway City. Overview & Responsibilities:
- The successful candidate will be expected to deliver a high standard of valuation reporting.
- Preparation of reports and valuation for clients, banks, developments and legal purposes.
- The candidate will need strong inter-personal skills, communication and organisational skills.
- Ensure speed and accuracy of information provided to management/client
- Carrying out Red Book / Blue Book valuations for loan security and regulatory purposes for both residential and commercial properties.
- Incorporate and enhance office processes and systems to improve efficiency and service.
- Business development and client relationship management.
- Undertake developmental activities to broaden experience and knowledge, including CPD.
- To develop expertise in the Valuation Sector.
Key skills required:
- Knowledge of the property market
- Numerical reasoning ability and attention to detail
- Ability to prepare written reports compliant to all Redbook / Bluebook standards
- Strong work ethic
Qualifications/ Experience:
- Relevant Property Degree
- Member of IPAV with REV qualification or Chartered member of the SCSI/RICS
- PSRA Licence essential
- Must have own car and Full Driver’s Licence
