Philip Farrelly & Co are currently recruiting an Senior Land Agent / Property Consultant to lead our Land & Property Services Team.

Essential Criteria:
- Have a level 8 degree in Property, Agriculture, Valuations or related discipline.
- Have 5+ years’ post graduate experience.
- Are experienced working both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong project management skills, client liaison and programme delivery.
- Have excellent attention to detail.
- Good knowledge of land and property rights, including good knowledge of wayleaves, easements and land acquisition.
- Experience of negotiating compensation claims, agreeing accommodation works on infrastructure projects.
- Have a strong understanding of relevant policy and legislation including CPO processes and voluntary acquisition arrangements.
- Have a current auctioneering licence issued by the PSRA.
Desirable:
- A full member of IPAV and/or a Chartered Member of RICS or working towards the same would be advantageous.
- Previous experience working in a fast paced multidisciplinary consultancy environment.
- A background in Agriculture or Engineering.
The Key Responsibilities include:
- Completing farm visits and conducting impact assessments of infrastructural developments such as water pipelines, and road projects.
- Keeping up to date with relevant developments.
- Develop company portfolio of clients and provide representation and advice on property related matters as required whilst keeping up to date with relevant developments.
- Providing expertise and assistance/advice to the consultancy team as required.
- Liaising with clients and other project stakeholders as required.
- Writing technical reports and feeding into project progress meetings.
- Negotiating and executing landowner compensation claims.
- Contribute to arbitration and expert testimony proceedings as required
- Co-ordinating project teams where required.
