DNG Duffy is a leading estate agency serving Dundalk and the wider Northeast region. Due to continued growth, we are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Lettings Agent to join our dynamic team, either on a full-time or part-time basis.
We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional service in a fast-paced and collaborative environment. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, proactive, and organised, with a genuine passion for client care and property management.
The ideal candidate would have:
- Full, clean driving licence
- PRSA licence required
- Prior experience in lettings, residential block management, or property administration is an advantage
- A motivated and enthusiastic approach
- Excellent customer service skills with a client-first mindset
- Strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail
- Professional and confident telephone manner
- Effective communication and negotiation skills
- Fluent written and spoken English
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships
The Key Responsibilities include:
- Hold a valid PRSA Licence (essential)
- Strong knowledge of residential letting practices and legislation, including the MUD Act 2011
- Drafting leases and managing tenancy agreements
- Registering tenancies with the RTB
- Preparing and processing PSA contract documentation
- Coordinating property repairs and maintenance
- Liaising with contractors and service providers
- Responding to tenant queries and service requests
- Conducting property viewings
- Handling utility transfers
- Managing day-to-day tenancy operations on behalf of landlords
- Monitoring rental payments and arrears
- Organising move-outs and preparing units for re-letting
- Ensuring high occupancy rates and successful renewals
