Job Description

Raymond Potterton Auctioneers are looking for a qualified Negotiator to join our busy team.

The ideal candidate would have:

✔ Minimum 3 years’ experience required
✔ SCSI or IPAV qualification essential
✔ Current PSRA licence
✔ Agricultural property experience desirable
✔ Strong negotiation skills and target-driven attitude
✔ Ability to work on your own initiative within a professional team

The Key Responsibilities include:

  • Valuation & Inspection: Accurately appraise, value, and inspect residential or agricultural properties for sale or auction.
  • Sales Negotiation & Closing: Act as an intermediary in negotiations between buyers and sellers, ensuring the best possible price is achieved.
  • Business Development: Proactively generate new business, manage client relationships, and maintain a high level of customer service.
  • Marketing & Listing: Promote properties through various channels, including online portals, brochures, and open houses.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all transactions are compliant with industry regulations (e.g., PSRA license requirements).
  • Administrative Diligence: Handle documentation, including property service agreements, sales advice notes, and liaising with solicitors.
