Job Description

DPS Property Management is a trusted leader in residential and block management services, known for delivering excellence across a diverse portfolio of premium developments. We are now seeking an experienced and proactive Block Property Manager to join our professional and growing team.

As a Block Property Manager, you will take ownership of the day-to-day management and smooth running of several residential developments. You’ll work closely with contractors, owners, and residents to ensure all properties are maintained to the highest standards.

The ideal candidate would have:

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in block property management.
  • A valid PSRA Licence (Category D) – essential or ability to gain same.
  • Strong understanding of the MUD Act and relevant property legislation.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders effectively.
  • Confident in Microsoft Office, Blockman, particularly Word and Excel.
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
  • Capable of working independently and managing competing priorities.
  • Full, clean driving licence and access to your own vehicle.

The Key Responsibilities include:

  • Managing the operational and financial performance of assigned developments.
  • Overseeing both planned and reactive maintenance, supported by our dedicated Block PPM Co-ordinator.
  • Preparing and monitoring annual budgets and service charge expenditure.
  • Conducting routine property inspections and ensuring compliance with health, safety, and statutory standards.
  • Managing and reviewing contractor performance and documentation.
  • Liaising with tenants, residents, and OMC directors to resolve issues professionally and efficiently.
  • Assisting with insurance renewals and claims where required.
  • Supporting sustainability initiatives and monitoring energy usage.
  • Preparing for and attending Owner Management Company AGMs and other client meetings.
  • Providing assistance with out-of-hours emergencies when required.
  • Maintaining accurate records and delivering monthly or ad-hoc client reports.
