Job Description
DNG O’Connor Finn is currently seeking an organised, proactive, and customer-focused Operations Manager to join our growing team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can confidently oversee day-to-day operations while also supporting the management of a residential property portfolio and delivering a high standard of service to landlords and tenants alike.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the business, ensuring excellent communication, efficient handling of maintenance and compliance matters, and the smooth running of operational and property management functions. The role will also involve supporting and overseeing the property management team to ensure tasks are actioned effectively and high service standards are maintained.
You will act as a key point of contact for landlords, tenants, contractors, and service providers, coordinate maintenance and inspections, and ensure properties and operational processes are managed professionally and efficiently at all times.
The ideal candidate would have:
- Operations management experience preferred.
- Full clean driving licence and own car required.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to manage workload in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional, proactive, and solution-focused attitude.
- Experience managing teams and coordinating workflows beneficial.
The Key Responsibilities include:
- Manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of the business.
- Manage a portfolio of residential properties.
- Act as the main point of contact for landlords and tenants.
- Coordinate maintenance requests, inspections, and contractor works.
- Handle tenancy renewals, notices, deposits, and lease documentation.
- Ensure compliance and statutory obligations are met.
- Maintain accurate records and update property systems.
- Respond to queries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Support and oversee the property management team to ensure smooth day-to-day operations and high service standards are maintained.
- Monitor workflows and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and service delivery.
- Liaise with contractors and suppliers to ensure quality service and effective operational support.
