Job Description
Smith Property is seeking an experienced professional to join and help develop our expanding Valuation Department.
The position may suit either a qualified Valuation Surveyor or an experienced Valuation Administrator with a strong background in property and valuation reporting.
The ideal candidate would have:
- Relevant IPAV, RICS or SCSI qualifications for the Surveyor position.
- A minimum of three years’ relevant experience.
- Knowledge of residential and commercial property.
- Experience preparing lender forms and professional valuation reports.
- A practical understanding of property construction.
- Excellent written and fluent spoken English.
- Strong attention to detail, map-reading and technology skills.
- Good geographical knowledge of County Cavan and surrounding counties.
- A full driving licence and access to their own transport.
- A professional, presentable and confident manner when dealing with clients and financial institutions.
- The ability to work on their own initiative and within agreed KPIs and targets.
- A dependable, team-focused approach and a willingness to contribute to the continued growth of the department.
For Valuation Administrator applicants, relevant experience in property, banking, surveying or professional administration is required.
The Key Responsibilities include:
- Supporting and contributing to the day-to-day operation of the Valuation Department.
- Preparing lender forms and professional valuation reports.
- Assisting with residential and commercial property valuations.
- Liaising professionally with clients and financial institutions.
- Managing valuation-related documentation and administration.
- Working to agreed KPIs, deadlines and departmental targets.
- Maintaining accurate records and a high standard of attention to detail.
- Contributing to the continued development and growth of the Valuation Department.
