The ideal candidate would have:
- Strong real estate appraisal and valuation skills, with the ability to assess various property types accurately.
- Experience working with estate agents or within an estate agency environment, ideally in the Irish property market.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and professionally.
- Relevant qualification in property, real estate, surveying, or a related field; professional accreditation (e.g., SCSI/RICS or equivalent) is an advantage.
- Proficiency in using property management and valuation software, as well as standard office applications.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills, attention to detail, and sound judgment in preparing reports.
- Full driving license and willingness to travel locally for property inspections.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple assignments, and meet deadlines in a busy on-site environment.
The Key Responsibilities include:
This is a full-time, on-site Property Valuer role based in Limerick. The Property Valuer will conduct inspections of residential, commercial, and agricultural properties, gather relevant data, and prepare accurate valuation reports in line with industry standards and regulatory requirements. Day-to-day tasks include researching market trends and comparable sales, liaising with estate agents, and maintaining up-to-date records of valuations. The role involves regular communication with clients to explain valuation outcomes, respond to queries, and deliver a professional customer experience. The Property Valuer will also support the wider team with property appraisals for sales, lettings, and auctions, ensuring consistency and quality across all valuation activities.
