Job Description
An established property firm in Co. Kildare is seeking an experienced Registered Valuer to join its professional services team. The successful candidate will undertake a broad range of residential & commercial property and land valuations, delivering high‑quality reports for personal, probate, and bank purposes.
This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified valuer looking to work within a respected practice, supporting a strong client base across Kildare and neighbouring counties.
The ideal candidate would have:
- Registered Valuer status (RICS or equivalent recognised accreditation).
- Proven experience in residential property, commercial property and land valuation.
- Strong understanding of market dynamics in Kildare and the wider Leinster region.
- Demonstrable experience preparing valuations for:
- Probate
- Personal / private purposes
- Bank / secured lending
- Excellent report‑writing, analytical, and communication skills.
- Full driver’s licence and access to own transport for site visits.
- Experience with estate management, land measurement, or development appraisals.
- Strong knowledge of planning frameworks and zoning considerations.
- Ability to work independently while managing a diverse and time‑sensitive workload.
The Key Responsibilities include:
- Conduct comprehensive valuations of residential & commercial properties, agricultural land, and development land.
- Prepare clear, accurate valuation reports for:
- Private clients
- Probate and family settlement matters
- Lending institutions / secured lending
- Undertake site inspections, market research, and comparative analysis in line with industry standards.
- Ensure all valuation work adheres to RICS/TEGoVA/Blue Book standards (depending on candidate accreditation).
- Maintain strong professional relationships with clients, solicitors, banks, and internal teams.
- Keep up‑to‑date with local market trends, regulatory updates, and valuation best practice.
